Welcome to the new website.
I’ve been noodling about with the idea of changing things for a while now, and finally decided that it is time.
I don’t want all my content to be on Instagram, I don’t use Facebook at all, and I abandoned Twitter/X a couple of years ago and deleted my account. Recent changes at Substack mean they auto-scan posts and a bot determines if they’ve been written with AI, but no one knows if this assessment is even remotely accurate. At the moment my mailing list is there, so I will continue to post a link on the platform when I put a blogpost up here, but that may change.

Apparently, even a very simple website these days needs cookie-consent. I had hoped to avoid it, but those are the rules.
The delectable offerings in the photo above are my chocolate oat cookies and my apology for giving you yet another button to click.

Over the next wee while I’ll connect up the subscription options, and I’ll add a few more blogposts so there is something to read.
