News is like buses...
… nothing for ages and then three things come along at once.
The first thing is to show you is the new cover for The Sewing Machine.
The book has been re-designed and can now be found in most branches of Waterstones in Scotland, and in independent bookshops too. It’s rather gorgeous, don’t you think? I love the pair of scissors on the spine.
The second thing is that today is publication day for Die Nähmaschine in Germany.
It’s a gorgeous hardback, and I can’t wait to show it to you in more detail.
And the third has no picture, but is possibly the biggest announcement of all. I am delighted to tell you that I now have an agent, Charlotte Seymour from Andrew Nurnberg Associates. We met in London last week, and she will be representing me for future work. I have plans for the next book (or three) and am very much looking forward to working with Charlotte to make them the best they can possibly be.
And look - I’m even on their website so it must be true, and not just a dream.
More news soon.
